We are having a wonderful time at Market, and are enjoying Salt Lake City. Jeni and I found a really neat restaurant, "The Inferno Cantina," around the corner from the convention center on Pierpoint Street-or-Drive-or something. The food is authentic (or nearly authentic) Mexican, really really really good, and the atmosphere is calm and pleasant. They play great American music, and the decor is super fun!
Salt Lake City is a beautiful, clean, and fun town. All the Utah folks we've met this weekend are so nice! Here is a photo of one little corner of the town. Love those mountains!
Jeni took a little break from the booth this afternoon and returned with this cute little sample from the Slice booth. She knows I love their Riley Blake Hootie Hoot samples. I have the fabric to make a quilt for my little grandson who is now two months old. I bought the fabric at Fall Market in Houston and haven't started the quilt. Somehow holding a full-time job AND publishing a magazine doesn't leave room for making quilts. Here are photos of the sample AND of my handsome little Julian. I bet he's growing while I'm away at Market.
I thought you were going to say that Jeni came back to the booth with the baby! lol. Bookazine is perfect - that is exactly what it feels like. Can't wait until the next issue!
ReplyDeleteoh your grandson is as cute as Beezy. My friend Sandy already has made a Beezy! He is so adorable! I love the Bookazine title, perfect
ReplyDeleteThat owl is so cute and what a special gift.

l have sent you several emails about my magazine that has still not arrived. Hoping l can get this sorted soon, as l would like to have the magazine that l paid for back in January. l have had no contact from you since the 3rd of May. Please contact me and let me know whats happening. This seems to be the only way to get a response from you. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry for the long wait on a response! With all of us away from the main computer, and at market, we got a bit behind! We will make it right with you! Our printer was on vacation before we all left, and I think that is where we left off, so we will all be back at the office on Tuesday, and will get you all fixed up! Again, so sorry for the long wait!
ReplyDeleteThanks for all of the nice comments today as well! We found great things at market! Cant wait to get back home tomorrow night! It's a long stretch to be away from home! What a great response to the magazine at Market! Yay!
