Offices Almost Ready!

Hello, again!

Our offices are coming along nicely. The wall is just about done, and we've cleared out most of the area so we can start bringing our furniture in. The rooms will be separated with walls made of old doors for now.

   Our future conference/ meeting room
   The entrance into Kristen's office
   Gretchen and Leah's offices
Notice the twinkle lights and fake logs under the mantle :) Haha
There will be a wall in between the windows separating Gretchen and Leah's offices. We will probably have the mantle in our meeting room when it's all finished. We can't wait until it's all ready! More to come soon :)

Our New Offices!

Good morning!

It's a rainy day here in WV. I have a few things I'd like to share with you all. Kristen's fiance, Neal, is building our new PQP offices where the Woolen Willow used to be. It's coming along really nicely! Here's the progress so far:

We are all so excited!

I also got some sewing done last night. I have about 15 blocks finished now :) Here are some pictures of my cat, Charlie, who loves being in the middle of whatever you're doing.

She's so funny :) She has so much fluff that it's hard to tell what you're looking at sometimes!

I hope everyone has a great weekend! I'm sure I will have more progress to share with you next week!

Leah's Quilt Progress

Good morning!!

I hope everyone had a Happy Easter! We had a great day with family, yummy food (too much yummy food), and beautiful weather. And I have some progress to share with my quilt! I picked a free pattern from Moda's website, got all my fabric cut, and I have 5 blocks completed!

I'm in love with all of the colors I'm using. I find myself smiling as I finish each block. This is very rewarding for me. I can't wait until it's finished!

Making My First Quilt!

Hi everyone!

I've decided it's finally time for me to make a quilt. I've grown up in a family of quilters, I've worked for PQP for three years and still haven't learned to quilt. So I wandered around the Woolen Willow this morning and my eyes went straight to Edyta Sitar's Laundry Basket Quilts fabric (I love everything she makes!) I first fell in love with her designs at Spring Quilt Market last year in Portland, OR.
So now I have two jelly rolls and a charm pack:

I'm sure between my mom, Aunt Jeni and Aunt Gretchen, I can come up with a design, but I'd also like input from our followers. If you have any ideas for a beginner quilt, please share them with me! I'm so excited to get started :)

Thanks!!
Leah
