I Love Fall!

Judy, Jeni and Gretchen have been away at Quilt Market and Festival in Houston the past couple of weeks, so Kristen, Grandpa and I have been up to no good while they were away ;) Haha.. just kidding! We've all been working really hard. It was nice getting updates from the girls at the show. They said our Primitive/Folk Art Quilt Exhibit turned out great.
You can see all the quilts by clicking here.

We've been having beautiful fall weather here in WV. All the leaves are changing and falling, the sun has been shining, and temperatures in the 50s and 60s. This is my favorite time of year. Trick or Treat was on Saturday, so I spent the afternoon with my dad, brother, my 4 year old nephew, Julian. Here is a cute video of Julian playing around on my phone:

Sunday I was inspired and motivated and decided to deep clean my house with my windows open, good music playing and candles burning. I even gave my my dog, June, a bath!

I find that when my house is clean and organized, I am more likely to be creative and productive. My next task will be candle making! I love to make soy candles, especially this time of year. They make great gifts, and also make my house smell so good!

Kristen and I haven't had much time to work on our quilts since my last post. We plan on getting together this week to start back up, so hopefully I'll have more progress to show in my next blog post!
