Free sew along, Part 5!

Here is part 5!

Cut the background 7" x 13" and mark a line (with a disappearing pencil) at 6"x 12" so you know how close the appliqués can be to the edge. After stitching is complete, trim block to 6 1/2" x 12 1/2"

The stems are on bias, and finish at 3/8" wide x 10 1/2" and 3/8"x 7 1/4." I used the clover bias maker tool for my cotton stems, but you may use your favorite method!

The leaves are several colors and are made from wool, whip stitched down with my favorite wool threads! If you would like a set, we have them for sale on www.primitivequiltsandprojects.com. The flowers are also made from wool!

I love the photos some of you have been sending! Feel free to post them on my www.woolenwillowdesigns.com FaceBook page!!

Enjoy!!
